Clothes you value can be
lost, borrowed or stolen. Recovering them is almost
impossible when stolen.
LogIT
- first provides for
the use of RFID tags. (Radio Frequency
Identification). The tags are a reasonable price and can
be stitched into secret locations on the garment.
If lost in a flood or fire, the question arises,
what was in the wardrobe at the time.
The tag is identified by using an RFID reader. It
produces the same information as would MicroDOT codes.
It is possible to
include clothes in LogIT
- first with a description and a
photo. Of course RFID tags provide better proof of
ownership.
This method is excellent for the likes of school
blazers and sporting
attire. An article of clothing, hat or an expensive blazer
is found, the RFID tag is scanned and ownership is
identified
in LogIT
- first.
